Hello everyone was away for a wee bit. Kinda got lost in the shuffleof things. Where do I start well that great guy I met turned out not to be the greatest thing since sliced bread. He wanted to save me and since I was to strong and didn't need saving he found some sad lonely creature that he could mold into what he wanted. I did however get a new stable job from Monday to Friday and they are awesome about letting mehave time off for the boys. Which is great? The boys are doing excellent my oldest just had his final band performance it was incredibly loooooong but worth it. My youngest is just counting down the days till summer camp if I get him registered in enough time. Let's keep our fingers crossed on that one. That's about it from me. Just going to go read and see what has been happening, hope you all are doing well.

Welcome back TheDreamer. Sorry things didn't work out with you and that man but good for you for staying strong! You don't need to be 'saved'. You're WOMAN. lol

Great to hear your kiddies are doing well. Keep us posted.

I don't post as much either. I come in here periodically now. My life is heading for a positive change. I'm moving and working on a little side home business. Hopefully it'll all work out for us. My 5 year old loves school so he's not as enthusiastic of it coming to an end. lol What a cutie. I should update his photo on here.

I am so happy for you. Glad things are going well. I can say I honestly deleted this site for awhile because I bought a new computer and lost everything on the old one. Sadly my youngest just found his favourite teacher is retiring so he is bumbed about that now but will be fine. I told him all new teachers and new discoveries. Things are going in a positive manner for us also. Just taking it one day at a time instead of 20.

Guess I should introduce myself here!

Newly divorced so am a brand new single Mom of a near 7 year sweet son.

I'm originally from North Van but haved lived the past 12 years in Finland, my ex's native country.

So...I'm newly divorced, newly integrated back into my native country (and experiencing reverse culture shock) and have just about completed the purchase of my own business, 3 preschools in Mission. Talk about a hand-full.

I'm feeling rather overwhelmed with it all. Don't know what's more overwhelming...being single again after 15 years, being a new single Mom of an active son, being a new business owner or being in shock from moving back "home" again.

Would love to have a chance to chat with someone who's been there and done that...or at least some of it.

Once I stop swirling, I'm sure that I'm gonna need some me-time to ingest everything that's happened in only 2 short months.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you!

Corinne

My oldest freind actually loves out in Mission. She is also a single mom of a daughter, and her mom works in the child care field. I got reverse culture shock just moving to Alberta from Manitoba so I have no idea how your doing. As far as being over whlemed well if I could have the answers to how not be then I would sell it in a book and retire happily. Good luck with your adventures and endeavors. See you again son.
