I wanted to say HI to everyone and see if there are still local members in the Dallas area. I am a single working mom of an adorable 13mo old son and I am hoping to make some new single parent friends. I live in East Dallas near White Rock Lake and work out in Las Colinas.
Are there ever any functions or get-togethers for members in the DFW area?
Not many of us that are active here from Texas...I am from Houston area. I sure wish there were more of us from Texas here but...there's not. Would luv for ya to stick around, there are lots of great ppl here.

Welcome Heather! Laurie is right when she says there aren't many active here from Texas. I haven't been on in quite a while and am in Mineral Wells. There are a lot of great people on here, I hope ya stick around.

I am a new member also from Texas. I live in Dallas and am actually pregnant now with my first child so I am not officially a single mom yet, a few more months to go.
Heather, I don't live far from White Rock. I hope there are others in the Dallas area on here also.
Hi, I'm new, just wanted to say hi to everybody here. I live near Denton and I don't know anybody, I'm currently dealing with custody and I...I feel like screeming so loud my longs are going to burst.
Wow, Heather! I am so glad to read this post. I hope you are still coming to the site. I just signed up today. I am a single parent of a 13 month old boy, too! We live by Central Market (Lovers & Greenville) and I also work in Las Colinas. How strange! What are you doing about childcare? Is your son's father involved at all? Do you have family in town? I am very fortunate to have 3 brothers and my mom all in the Dallas area. Hope to hear from you.

welcome everyone! I live one hour from Austin and one hour from San Antonio. I live in the beautiful Hill Country area! I love it here....but sometimes think of moving.....(just want to start over somewhere.....)
