Is a much stronger friend network. My life is my children and work and nothing more.... I promised myself I would generate a group of friends I can count on. Dont get me wrong i have some friends, but we are at entirely different places in our lives. I am a single mom with 2 boys and some of my friends are single (which is hard for them to understand why Im home more than out) or married (in this case I just visit them via email) just in different worlds. Looking to build positive similar minded friends.. I hope I have found a source for that...
Thanks

Just wanted to say hey...I'm new also, but I wonder if someone could respond to come concerns I have....it sounds like so many of you are young single parents with young kids....I am a 40something parent with two boys, 16 and 12....the teen and preteen years bring a whole host of frustrations and concerns....anyone else share this issue?

P.S. I actually consider myself as a single parent nearly the entire time since I never really had any help from ANYONE....knock wood, so far my kids are good kids (a bit fresh to me, but good, seemingly well-adjusted everywhere else!)

Welcome

Welcome hokehstage. The best way to get a response to your post is to start a new thread by choosing new topic.

Otherwise, most people think you are just adding to the original post.
