I figured my first post might as well be in the Illinois section. I just found this site today.

I live in Northern Illinois. I am a 31 year old mom, to a 11 year old boy. My name is Treasure.

His father has always been missing from me, his son, and the government.. even when I learn through the grapevine exactly where he is, the government doesnt have the time or resources to verify my information (that is what I have been told by child support services)

But I dont dwell in him missing. My child is preteen, which brings on bigger problems them his missing father. (as i speak my son is on his computer looking up some pretty gross stuff... sigh)

Welcome to the site. Isnt it great how the court system works. I bet if you were receiving any financial assistance they would have the time to verify the information.

Hi treasure and welcome :welcome: I have kids ranging from 17-1 so I understand the gross stuff. Depending on what it is I just shake my head and walk on. They have there own little world a lot of times, but grow up all to fast.
I hope you enjoy the site, these are a great group of people.
