Hi, I'm Mattie, separated mom to a 3yr old and from the N/NW Chicago Suburbs. I'm hoping it is OK to post this request here, as a search didn't turn up anything related...

I've been finding it very hard to find a good family (divorce) attorney. It won't be a simple case, so I've been looking and interviewing and trying to find the right one. This one won't be solved by "collaboration", which is what most of the referrals I've received have been for.

Would love to hear positive recommendations rather than picking one from a web directory... but I tell you I have looked everywhere and no one posts family attorney recommendations!

SO..thought I would try here. Can anyone recommend a good lawyer in Cook County, preferably N/NW suburbs?

I have enjoyed reading all of the good material here, and hope to be able to contribute soon!

I used them to find mine in Lake County, she isn't a forceful go getter and am considering dumping her, not just due to this, but my ex and I are considering doing the court thing on our own.

They review what you need and give you contact information for an attorney. I think you can keep using them until you get a good one. It costs nothing, or at least it didn't back in June.

Excellent Lawyers!!! Highly Recommended! I couldn't have gotten what i got without them...I had no idea what to ask for and what my sons fathers lawyer was trying to pull until they came in and started shifting things around! I consulted with a few different lawyers but their prices were much better than the previous. If you do decided to go with them let them know that Candice recommended you Good luck!!!
