I am New to SFV

I am new the the group. I am a 31 year working mom to 2 boys (5 and 20 mos old). I am wondering if anyone knows of any play groups that meet at the park, mall, museum, zoo or where ever containing moms that work during the week but try to get together with other single moms or dads on the weekend.

Please let me know.

Hey and glad you found the site. It's a good way to keep your sanity. I have almost the same situation as you and am always up for something new. I am a 34 year full time career and dad. I have two boys one just turned 6 and the other turns 2 in a couple of months. It's hard to find people in the same situation so let me know if you find any groups or if you all end up organizing something. Take care.

I think the park district is a good place to start. I saw some play groups that you can sign up for, unfortunately I can't take my son to them because I work during the week. I have signed myself and my son up for gymnastics classes at our local park (he goes stir crazy during the winter), maybe we could get a group together from the members on this board.

I would love more responses to this post. I too wonder what places I can go to that meet with other single or not mothers and fathers. I work during the week and all the park district offers is classes during the day.
