I am New to SFV
Posted
Hi, I am new to this board. I am not actually a signle parent but my brother is and I need some advice that I can pass on to him. He is having a problem with his ex-wife not allowing visitation with his son and needs a lawyer. He lives in Naperville, IL. If anyone knows a good lawyer in the area that isn't too expensive I would appreciate it. Thank you guys so much for the help.

Tracy :thanks:

Does he have a court order for visitation? If he does then she is breaking the law by not allowing him to see his son. He could contact an attorney, thats $$ tho. Or if he has a currant order for visitation he could go to the police department and file a compliant. Also if he would study the laws in your state he could go pro se. He could find these laws by going to google and typing in visitation illinois
Good luck. A child needs both parents in their lives.
