I was just wondering if there were ang Single Moms or around my area? I am looking for friends, other Single Moms to hang out with and do things with the kids. Especially with the holidays coming. I am a mom of 3 small children, and I am 40. Just turned 40 on November 1st. Hey isn't that something? I celebrated the big one........my 40th birthday alone. How sad. Anyhow my kids are Dakota 5 (Girl). Denver 23 months (Girl), and little Davey 7 months (Boy)

Im new here. I live about an hour away from Buffalo right now. I just moved to NY about 6 months ago. I am from Chicago. I am a single Mommy to almost 9 month old twin girls. I plan to move to buffalo sometime in early next yera but i visit there at least 3 times a month. Its nice to meet you!

I am a single mother in the Buffalo, NY area. I am looking to start a single parent support group. I find it hard as a single parent to find the time to socialize with other "grown-ups" as the rest of you probably feel. I think that it would be nice to get together with other single parents in the area to discuss topics dealing with our situation, to vent a little bit and make new friends. This could also benefit our children, having them meet new children and making new friends.

We will resume this playgroup begininng Friday, September 12th.
We have extended the hours to 9:30am - 12:00pm.

We want to invite parents to our Community Playgroup. This playgroup is held at Akron Free Methodist Church and welcomes all denominations.

It is a wonderful opportunity for Moms & Dads to fellowship together and build new friendships in a safe enivornment with 4 rooms for play. Most Fridays we offer a free lunch. This is a no-fee playgroup & look forward to another great year! I personally am very blessed by the group as I was a new Mom to the area & very happy to find a friendly group of other stay at home Moms.
