I am not from Napa but I am fairly closeI'm in Novato and I have been looking for other single parents for a while it's almost impossible to find people

I'm in Napa. I've been here for 6 years. I just joined up on this board. Napa can be a very frustrating place to be single with children.

Welcome to the site. It's kinda good to see some more Californians fairly close by.

malnme, welcome to the forum. I honestly don't know any local support groups, though I haven't really done any extensive searching either.
Since there appears to be more of us local showing up here perhaps a little research into that would be a good idea. There certainly is enough population in this area that there surely must be some out there.

Hi, I am also new and in Solano County (for past two years). However, I work two days a week in Napa County. I also was born and grew up in the upper Napa Valley, but had to move away about 6 years ago. I had to go where housing was more affordable since I only got my child support once and it is now a closed case (long sad story). I split up with my ex when I was seven months pregnant. She is now 11 years old. Things had been tough for quite a few years, but I am now in a better place.
