I am looking for other single parents in california. Its not easy to find other people who understand what I am going though. I lost contact with most people, some when I had my daughter and the rest when my ex and I split up. I ma looking to make some new friends even if it is just to e-mail back and forth for support. I have a 5 year daughter and would like some other single parents to go out with maybe take the kids out to the park or something.
well I hope to hear from somebody.

Hey,

I am in CA, not close to you (Riverside County) but I am here to talk and e-mail! My son is 6 years old and like you, I have not been able to meet any new friends. I have a few old ones, but would like some new people in my life!

howdy, I'm in Napa....a tinsy-tad far, but not too much once you get here! (hutch, I'm from Boca originally and still have parents there) If you need to talk, just say so. There is a Parents without Partners chapter in Hayward...have the info here if you don't feel like looking it up yourself. Heard that they are a helpful and social group. I was thinking about looking into the Santa Rosa one..though that is a little far for me more than once a month. Reading the posts and responses on this web site has been most helpful/hopeful for me. Take care of yourself and just say the word if you want contact with an actual voice. sd Roll Eyes

Hi Treasure...I have no idea where Hayward is but from the looks of it, I'm not close to you either. I'll figure out where you are and see if there are others on this board that have yet to contact you but are closer. Keep in touch though, we're all here for you no matter what. It's better to have someone to talk to, even if it's via emails, than no one at all.
