H.I. - lets talk story - born in Hon. 6yrs. and also lived in the Big island went 2 HPA for 6 yrs.I am so homesick, i really mis the oceans weather, food - L&L, Zippy's, Ono's, Crack seed store, bento, wialoa shave ice, Genki sushi and much, much more

Minn - any 1 from Duluth, thats where my family is from my mom and siblings went 2 east - greyhounds

If anyone knows about Single Parent groups in this area -I would certainly be interested.

I am in So Cal as well. I am not a group just a person but hi.

Moved this to the California forum. There are actually a decent amount of Cali members around on here.

Welcome to the forum. I don't know about any groups yet...tho, I have met a few new people on singleparentsmingle.com and was invited to take the kids to the beach today... couldn't make it - but the invite was nice.

If anyone from here wants to plan a gathering -- I'm interested. I have a difficult time doing things last minute.. but sometimes I can be spontanious as well.

Genki sushi WoW that is a name i have not heard of in a long time. i also ate hoka hoka too. i used to eat that when i was in the service stationed in japan. i plan on going to Hawaii maybe the second week of next month to visit my best friend. and one thing i am looking forward to is eating at some nice restraunts. my buddy tells me they have some great places there to eat at. but i forgot where he lives at in hawaii. also i plan on doing some deep sea fishing. i heard the sport fishing is terrific there.

I'll skip the sushi ... but sea food - YUM YUM!

I *did* try sushi ..it was actually OK ... I was kinda suprised. (prepared to gag lol)

Ya know.. California is a great place to get food from all over the world - cuz our population is so diverse...at least it is where I live.
