Was thinking that maybe we can meet at the Long Beach Aquarium. Figure it's a safe place to get to know each other and for the kids to interact with one another for a change . It's been difficult finding a single parents play/support group it seems it had all moved to the net. I'm not much of an on-line person figured I'd give it a shot...lol..one thing is for sure everyone here wont assume your married and be judgemental as in the park.

So if your interested or have any other suggestions that'll be awesome please post and we can go from there. I can also, get discount tix for the place as well as a lot of other hot spots.

That sounds like a good idea. I've heard that some zoos have "single parents" days too!

So.. the questions coming to mind are:
1. What day?
2. How does everyone recognize each other? Since we can't all say "Just meet by the fish.." (Grin)

Well lol hopefully the kids wont be meetin in the tank...guess we can have someone hold a sign up ... j/k... Was hoping that people would post interest and then set up a date within a few weeks(figure out when and what time is best). When that happens we can either exchange pics or meet at the right hand side of the box office next to a pack of dr. pepper

$6.95 for kids (3-11) reg $10.95
$10.95 for adults $10.95 reg $18.95

Catch is it has to be for a min of ten people and has to be booked by Aug 29. if we decide to go on aug 31. ... basically 2 days in advance.

I can get every day discounts as well if we can't make it then
