How was everyone's New Year's eve?

I wanna know who slept through it all, who partied it in, and who kissed someone at midnight.

I did...Sierra got a big old kiss at midnight

I slept through midnight but at 12:12 a.m. my very hot and sexy voice friend (LOL) called to wish me a happy new year. He even apologized for being late. I called him this morning telling him he did wake me up but since I was half awake didn't answer the phone.

I did talk to him this morning . . . ahhh. . . I think I could fall for this one! Oh wait . . . never mind, that's not allowed.

Cool, I'll close the other one.
My New Year's.....I was quite ill and still not feeling well. I'll spare the details of how work went yesterday but came home and still trying to get myself feeling better. So yeah I slept off and on all night but did wake up right at midnight, couldn't help it the neighborhood was setting off more fireworks than the city does on the 4th it seemed.
Anyway, I'd better get back to forcing myself to close all my accounting for 07 and set up for 08.

I was cleaning at midnight last night. I'm finally starting to emerge from my depression and my house looks like it's going to get up and walk away.

Anywho, new fun lounge, new fun.......

I just saw a commercial with a bunch dudes sitting around with guitars and singing "Vivaaaaaaaaa Viagra". Nuff said.

Gosh I saw that last night. J and I were sitting here talking about how the commercials were all about drunk driving, viagra and sleeping pills. It was an odd combo.

I stayed up past midnight so did muy kids except the baby.
Kised the kids an everyone in the room (all family) slipped n the other room for a sec to gather myself as I felt tears imerging and my mother came in to tell me that I needed to "just knock it off and try at least not to ruin everyones new year."
I am glad the hoildays are over. Maybe this should have been a whine?..sorry

My new years resoution is to try to be more positive..not off to a good start but I'm working on it.

Jesus that's harsh. You're allowed to grieve in whatever way works for you. You take care of your kids and you get through each and every day the best way you know how. If that's not good enough for your mother, well, I really don't want to be saying bad things about other peoples' moms so I'll tell you what. Give her MY number.

Hmmmph! Well Sugar, you probably already know what I'd say about that! But I'm going to hold my tongue for now.

Hi Everyone!

I've been sick and Lame since New Years Eve....and feels like I'm getting worse.

My leg (torn calf muscle) hurts ALL the time unless it's up. I have a ton of things to do...which doesnt leave me very much time for putting my leg up.

So...doing what I can...exhausted 30 minutes after waking, running a fever off and on. I know this isnt the Whiner Thread....but I didnt have the energy to find it.

Sweating ...just typing this much out.

Its frickin cold. I mean negative windchills that are only supposed to get to zero. Even with the heat on full blast in the house the only way I stayed warm this morning was with two dogs and four blankets piled on top.

The puppy does make a great heater. LOL

I'm listening to my kids playing together and would somebody please tell me when Ryan got big enough to speak in full sentences. He was just born a minute or 2 ago! It's going by way too fast.

Thanks eveyone. I have been here since Monday feeling bad like I was the one who is wrong. Like I need to "hide how I am feeling better. The thing that really bothered me is I feel like I do. I wasnt standing there crying infront of everyone or my children. kids were busy throwing confetti and stuff and I mearly walked away for a minute to make sure I didn't cry in front of everyone. I usually think I do a pretty good job "holding Up" through everything. and my mother acting like dont really made me feel badly I like I'm not being strong enough. Mothers really have a way to hurt your spirit when they don't even realize how much what they say hurts. Hearing everyones responses makes me fee so much better. Thanks.

Hello everyone! Happy New Year!

I was exhausted on New Year's Eve and Gabe and I fell asleep on the couch about 10, I did wake up about 11:50 cause my fella was calling to wish me a happy new year. Talked to him for like a minute and went straight back to sleep only to wake up sometime after midnight to have my mom saying Happy New Year. I put Gabe in bed, downed a wine cooler and then went straight back to sleep. haha I'm boring I know.

New years eve was uneventful for me. I didn't have my kids and had no plans. I couldn't go out because my ex was dropping the kids off early tuesday morning. I stayed home and played a computer game until late

2008 is going to be great. I've got a feeling about this one folks

I had a nice new year's. Had a few friends over drank a couple glasses of champagne , let my daughter stay up until midnight and rang in the new year watching the ball drop in Times Square, NEW YORK CITY!!!!

Well I'm finally going bed. Along with Ryan's terrible 2's comes a lovely case of "I'll throw a hissy fit everynight before bed and try to bolt out of bed when my mommy is looking at something else". He was evening screaming for Katie and I had to threaten her to stay out of my room and away from him.

Morning bites! Actually what bites is that I seem to be in a normally irritated mood lately. BAmy suggested I put a paint gun on my car for some issues I have with other drivers. LMAO
