First whine of the thread: I'm lonely

Isn't that why people have children? so that the children can take care of the parents when the parents get older :P or injured

My whine, I so feel like puking. Not actually sick but this whole commitment thing, yeah I'm terrified! I'm so nervous I feel a bit quesy at all times. I don't know how people can go from one relationship to another, cause this is the first one I've been in, in a while and I think I'm gonna throw up.

I'm sick! I've tonsilitis and Ian has colds. I'm going to have his pedia check him because he may also have throat problems that he may have gotten from me and my mom when we got back from our vacation.

and my whine... when my dad learned I was taking Ian to the pedia he said I shouldnt do that, I was just panicking... that it was normal for babies to have runny noses, that I should trust their judgement because they are more experienced parents blah blah blah blah... WTH... does he have mother's instinct? and does he live here to know what's really going on? what does he care if I want to take Ian to his pedia? I almost told him to back off, this is my son and my decision.

I'm FREEZING!! It's like 10 degrees in the Big A....Brrrr!!!

Ok..now that I'm finally toasty warm, I have another whine o' the day. Went shopping at lunch today and bought 3 pairs of shoes that I really didn't need....why do I do this to myself!!

I've been cold for days! Once I think I'm warm, I'm freezing again . . . bah! I think I'm going to be a hermit this weekend if possible.

Big whine: where is everyone today? People are logged in but no one is talking . . . or are they just not talking to me?

Nope not me. I listen to too much whining not to whine myself. In fact my whine for today is Alex is sick and Ryan and I are getting there. Katie hasn't acted sick yet but I'm sure she'll be sick too by the time they go back to school on Monday. Alex's b-day is tomorrow and he's getting really sick so I'm thinking he might now enjoy his birthday. Poor guy.

I haven't been on the board for a while. Nairobi is calmer now, but there still skirmishes (if you've been watching CNN/AlJazeera/BBC then you know the past week has been a dark one for my beautiful country Kenya) in some places

Kenya has been an island of peace and stability in the continent until last week. But Kenyans are sill optimistic about our future post the elections and in no time we shall reclaim our position on the continent as the one of the most peaceful countries in Africa.

What you've been watching in the news (CNN especially) is also quite exaggerated. Yes, we do have trouble spots, but it is relatively safe for the ordinary citizen in Nairobi and other cities. The problem is in the western cities of Kisumu and Eldoret, and there are also incidences of looting and hooliganism in Mombasa(coastal city)

This Kenyan wants you to know that we shall overcome!!

I hate this weather here in PRI.
Sunday it got up to 60 and now they are talking about more snow by Thursday WTF. be one or the other but not both. thats how I get sick.
So far I'm doing ok. Chirstmas was bad, no gifts, no cards, and no calls from my kids
Also I go back to court the 17 of Jan. Lord when will this be over?
