Hi

I've just joined and am a 34 yr old self employed single parent of a 6 month old baby girl. Still finding it hard coming to terms with being a single mum, as well as a new mum!! V. hard work and overwhelming at times.

Any one else been here or in a similar situation right now??!!

Yes, you must be busy if you're self employed and a new mother, and single.
No, I am not exactly in the same situation, I am not working, and my child is almost 2 years old (I almost can't believe it, time went soooo fast).
Still, welcome here, and you will find plenty of people in similar situations !!

hi I am new here too, a single mum of 5 children although two are now grown up, I am still in shock after being lied too by my soul mate, the father of my two month old baby. I would love to start a single parent group here in East sussex. look forward to e mailing other single parents.xx

Hi I am also a single mum and work part time.. I also find days very hard but others are a pat on the back... they say it gets better and I keeping uip my hope... hugz I know where you are coming from
