Hi everyone,

I found this site by chance, it looks a really friendly place. I was widowed 2 years ago when my son was 6 and he took the sudden death of his dad very hard. He's still going through the mill a bit but on the whole he's getting through it better than I could of imagined and I'm so very proud of him. That's not to say he can't be a little bugger at times lol oh yes some days I'd think he was 13 instead of 8!
In my experience, single parenting can be very difficult (and I've only got ONE child lol), but I don't think there's anything more rewarding.

I have to laugh at your b-word.....cos usually anything too "risqué" gets *censored* on this (and other american) boards, I guess they don't know that typical british word!!

Yea, I know how you feel. I "only" have 1 too (now 16) and really, I wonder how others do it with more than one.......
