Hi,
My Dad is off to the UK for 6 months and I am trying to find a economical UK ISP provider for while he is away. Could you please tell me who you guys use or recommend so I could check them out. I have done the usual google but it is taking me hours to even find possibilities, I am on a diabolically slow dial-in here.
Thanks

There are a few choices that are inexpensive such as
Tiscali
One-tel
Telewest

It all depends where he will live to who covers that specific area and the deals that they have in place at the time. But be wary as he will only be here for 6 months he may have a problem as most companies have a 12 month contract.
A solution depending how much he wants to use his PC,if it just to E Mail to NZ would be to join his local library when he arrives at his new address(but they have specific rules on presentation of ID and he will have to ask and work around them) and use their computers at either a very small fee or free if he can book the time in advance.
PM me with his details of where he is intending staying and I will do some research on his behalf in advance.

Mark
