diskonize,
:welcome:

I have a girlfriend I work with that has been going through the same deal for almost 12 years now. Finally, about 2 years ago she filed for abandonment and her (get this) ex boyfriend adopted her daughter. Yes they had broken up but, he adores her daughter and is the only father she has ever known.

I am sorry I have no advice. I know nothing about international child support. I am not even certain anything of that sort exists.

I hope you will stick around and join us here at SFV. There are some very great people here. Many of us.. no.. all of us, have really high hills to climb.. they just come in different forms.

Welcome again!

Hi and welcome. Smiler

I know there is a international cooperative partnership system in place. I read about it a couple years ago.

I will do a search and post what I find.

Good luck to you.

It is late here and my brain is tired.
this is a Canadian government site I found.
http://www.justice.gc.ca/en/ps/sup/enforcement/enforcement_overview.html#iso

It discusses the international process. Perhaps if you were to research some of the terms and agreements they mention you will be able to find something that helps you there.
-Interjurisdictional and international enforcement
-Reciprocity arrangements
