Lol...Jen, if you looked at the room in the leftmost pic of her sig and had to guess a European country, you're saying it *wouldn't* be the Netherlands? Wink

Would you believe that all 5 of the hitchhikers I met in Europe last year were from Holland? Seriously...100% of them...

We never made it to Stuttgart. From what I saw of Berlin and Munich, however, Germany is where these Bobbies belong.

Thanks,
Bobby

Hmmm, but if you don't know, it's nothing to do with being observant or not.
cos you can find stuff like that all over europe and probably the world too (with cultural differences).............

a little explanation in order I think about that lovely picture we were talking about
(the lime green one on the left).

In santorini we were staying on the beach side (black sand cos it's volcanic) of the island and discovered this little cafe with a wonderful greek girl running it. we used to go and hang out there for a while each day, coffee or teatime, or evenings.
she and her husband were wonderful. he used to drop in for his lunch (so civilized these southern europeans who do real lunch time, not like here, a sandwich at your desk.....)
it was so sweet and romantic, they had been in the same class together at school since the age of 8, so real childhood sweethearts. (swoon)they were married already 10 years when I met them.
anyway, the great thing is her husband worked for coca cola on the island, but one of these lucky people that is multi-talented, cos he is an artist and those are all his works hanging there...........
was a bit of a shock seeing all that lime first time we walked in that year, cos we were there the year before too, and the theme then was purple and lilac (colours I prefer.....), but really got into it.
the nice thing is he had photos of all his works on his computer and was sweet enough to print out a couple of them for us (10x15 size) and they are now framed and hanging on my walls.
