"Who me......?"
At A loss for Words - NOT!
Posted
Both my boys have been gone for 5 days now. I kinda enjoy the quientness a little. My youngest called and told me he's having a good time. They went fishing on the pond. He wants to get his dad to buy him a boat painted like a shark so he'll have more fun fishing.

got to speak to my oldest too. Seemed a little awkward... well actually I noticed both of them were speaking like they do when we're in public.

I'm getting a lot done at the house... perfect time to spring clean and toss out those old toys. Enjoying those other things I don't get to do much like... stay at work till dark or have dinner with a friend without watching the clock, helping a friend get ready to finalize her divorce. I want to avoid it ... what a circus court can be.

Anyone else here with kids visiting NCPs this summer?

Hi Tessmit

Glad you got to hear from your boys! I understand you missing the boys but I have to say I'm a little jealous of your quiet time and working until dark and and all that. I miss those things too being a 24/7 mom.

I'm sure they'll be back before you know it and these quiet times will just be a memory...glad you're keeping busy though.

It's a quiet busy day. Everyone's getting ready for the 4th. I'm thinking about sailing again but, I'm having those awful feelings of lonliness.

Those of you who share custody knows this feeling and right now it feels like it's not my year for Christmas. I'm wondering if the EX would ask for that this year.

Its soooooo not fair. He's the one that said 10 years ago he DIDN'T want to be a father ad he DIDN'T want children (after #2 was born and the first one I was on fertility treatments---didn't blindside him with kids) Two years ago, I told him they needed a father because they were hovering at the neighbors garage too much, he says... call Big Brothers.

I've already heard complaints about how expensive it is to feed them (for 6 days now) you'd think he got a clue? Just venting.

Hope this finds you feeling a little better. You should know that venting is a god given right so vent away, we all understand the need for it.

When requesting a renegotiation on child support the Ex told me that it doesn't cost that must to feed a 6 year old. This prompted me to keep a list for a week just to give him a clue. Hello, idiot; breakfast, playlunch, lunch, afterschool snack, dinner, dessert, and that is only a school day. Where do they think that food comes from? Rains down from the sky and i just collect it off the front lawn! As i said, Idiots!

Hang in there tessmit, your kids will be back soon and you know what, i bet they are missing you like crazy too. x
