my boyfriend has just found out that an ex is prego and may be his, he would like to get custody if it is, is there any advice that may help or that we should look into???

well if he does want to have some type of custody, i would recommend making sure he stays in touch with her and maybe some kind of proof. like write letters and make copies of them. i'm not an expert or even close but i've heard that if a guy doesn't show interest during the pregnancy, it can show abandonment. i'm not sure but if she's a good person, possibly a good mother, why not go for joint custody.

Might help more to know the reasons behind why he wants custody if it is his. Most times, unless a parent can be proved to be unfit, a court will grant joint custody.
