WOW Michael !

What a question !

Your 10 y/o actually recently started disobeying ?
She must be a very special child if she hasn't disobeyed in 10 years.
It is basically the children's job to disobeye, anf for us to decide how to react.

Welcome to SFV and in the world of parenting !

Sorry for the Wink , but it was offered on a golden tray for me to answer, wasn't it.

What do you mean ? Has anything special happened ?

Hi smithshipdad and welcome. :welcome: How about some details on the situation. I have 9 kids living in my house and I handle each one a little different depending on the child and what has or has not been done. I can't say that I have ever handled it the same way all the time.

I guess it all depends on exactly what she disobeyed for. If it was for something minor, the punishement won't be as bad. Another words, the punishment would fit the crime.

Just remember, you're about to go through some pretty hard stuff at that age. There are phases and at that age, she's at what they call the "pre-teen" stage.

If you need help with the punishment just let me know. I have all sorts of good things you can try!
