Wow, you have two young girlies. My girls are 6 & 15. I have my hands full daily! It does get better as they get older, but I do find (compared to other parents stories) that girls are way more emotional! Makes it hard sometimes. Hey, we should have our own support group "Parents of girls". Well, anyway good luck to you and have patience, LOL.

My first four are girls. THe Lord finally blessed with with a boy 18 months ago. My oldest girl is 23. My 10 has behavior disorders and learning disabilities. My 8 is rambunctious and thinks she is a Cheetah. The 3 yo usually has more energy than she knows what to do with. So, if you ever have any questions about girls, just buzz me.

As far as girls being more emotional, that depends upon the age and genetics. Boys can be just as emotional as girls but at different stages. So far, the age of 8 is a very trying age. They like to throw tantrums that almost exceed a toddler's. Razzer
Next phase to watch out for is around 13.

I too have 3 girls ages 6 mos,3 and 4(5 this month)!!Honestly I think it scares me more than it would having all boys.Just the teenage years.I know the stunts I pulled on my single Mom just to get my Dad's attention and believe me later on I learned from them but I just hope I can somehow make sure they don't follow in my footsteps.I feel bad that they don't have a positive male role model to instil a healthy relationship with. That in itself makes me worry about their futures and how they will determin positive and negative attention from the opposite sex.Am I making sense to anyone??LOL

I have 2 girls. My oldest is 4 but turns 5 next Wed. And my youngest is 2 1/2. I love having girls! If I'd ever have any more children I'd love another girl.

I HAVE A 12 YEAR OLD GIRL-HAVE BEEN DIVORCED SINCE SHE WAS TWO. I FIND THAT THE CHALLENGES NEVER GO AWAY THEY JUST VARY BY DEGREES. I FIND THAT HOLDING FIRM WITH ANY AND ALL DECISIONS HELPS WITH TANTRUMS. IF YOU GIVE IN IT ONLY TEACHES THEM THAT THAT IS HOW TO GET WHAT THEY WANT. WHEN THEY RESPOND WITH NO TANTRUM GIVE THEM POSSITIVE RE-ENFORCEMENT. Big Grin
