SFV JUNKIE!!!

Okay, so I love snow! I love sledding, making snow angels, throwing snowballs, and making snowmen. However, no one I know does. Granted I hate idiots who cant drive in the snow but snow itself just makes everything all shiney and sparkley. Its like a magical wonderland. We are getting more snow . . weeeeee!

Anyway, what fun stuff do you all do with your kids in the winter? Nothing like spending hours outside playing and then coming in, getting hot cocoa and snuggling in a blanket. Smiler

My kids like it when I fill water bottles with food coloring and they can paint the yard. They write their names and make pictures in the snow. They also love sleigh riding. They always make a snow man for each family member in the front yard and try to add something personal to make it look more like that person. Mommy likes to see them have fun but really dislikes the snow.

My daughter and I built an igloo in the yard last year. It was a project that took several days. Building it was more fun for her than playing in it. You can search the web for instructions on how to do it. (there is a post on here somewhere from me last year cursing my neighbor lady for starting the whole igloo thing. But it did turn out to be fun)

You can also get those snow brick forms and make big blocks to build a fort out of. I bought some to try if I ever get snow this year.

Okay so Kai and I built a snowman a few days ago. However, my stepmom added some features that proudly display that the snowman is a boy. So, as soon as I edit the picture, I will post it.

Why not? If I don't I'm sure someone will be offended. That's what usually happens.
