"Doing what I can"

I'm awake! Its so cute when Kai actually gets up before me and says "mom, its time to get up." I open my eyes and see these big beautiful blue eyes and a big smile, then I get the warmest and most sincere hug. When you see that little face in the morning, its hard to have a bad day. Of course the next thing out of her mouth is "i'm hungry." lol

I think after I study a bit this morning I am going to finally get to take Kai outside. I think it will be about 35 today. I think sledding is in order. She loves it outside, as do I but I just have a hard time with the cold because Kai gets sick so much. But if we go outside, that means more pictures. I have so been slacking with the pictures. I will probably end up taking a lot this weekend.

Oh and we are going to see Horton Hears a Who. Smiler

What are you all doing this weekend?

Its funny you say that...my girls are the same way, in fact sometimes they scare me. They are like standing next to my bed really quite for like minutes on end, I turn over open my eyes.....SURPRISE! Sometimes they don't want to wake me I guess.

Well I'm studying also...testing for my next Air Force promotion on Wednesday. I'm overloaded with information....

Hey smshy I'm going to Alpina, MI in June for 1 week of training. What can I expect for weather, things too do, etc.

Let us know how the movie is, my kids wanna see it too. Have Fun!

Yah I"m having the fun of studying business law, which totally doesn't interest me, and then an intro to paralegal studies which I basically already do daily anyway.

Alpena . . . hmmm . . . I'll have to look that up. I dont venture there often. I think they have a festival sometime in June though . . .I can't remember. Let me get back to you on that.

As far as weather, its Michigan, there could be snow, rain or sun Smiler

The movie was good. Kai was a wiggle butt which was unusual but then again she had her meds just before we went in and the drug she's on makes her a big hyper. lol

Have fun outside!!! I'm hoping we'll be spending some time outside this weekend too. I'm looking into double jogging strollers right now...I know, I'm nuts. Wink

We went to Launching Success (the local teacher store) yesterday, SOOOO much fun!!! I was very proud of myself for only spending $50. I could spend all day in educational stores like that...

Today we're going to church, going on a bicycle ride and playing with all the new toys we got yesterday. And then Bridger will run around being a crazy monkey when my study group comes over around four, he's such a show off Smiler

So far, all I've been able to throw in is a couple of loads of laundry.

And that is NOT fun!

But I will have fun next weekend.

And on the 25th of this month, I'm making another trip to Boston! And this time, I'm taking Binta with me! Smiler
