Hi Con21, and welcome to the site.
If you want to start a new topic, Click on the link for the forum subject you want it to be in from the list on the front page. In the bottom left of the page of that forum there is a button for Post New Topic. You can also check the box to be notified by email when someone replies to your new topic.
If you wish to reply to an existing topic there is a Post Reply button right next to the new topic button in the same place. Or you can have "quick reply" option checked in your preferences in private member area so that a box will always appear at the bottom of a the topic you are reading at the time.
Hope that helps or let us know, we'll be happy to help you further.

I found this site looking for Teen Fathers. My son 16 has a daughter he is raising. I was a single parent (really still am) for 10 yrs. Married now, but do 90% of parenting. I have enjoyed reading all the topics. Any other 36 year old grandparents?

My mom was a 36 year old grandma when I had my son 6 years ago. Her first reaction was, "I'm too young for this." She loves my son as much as you obviously love your granddaughter. I think it is wonderful that you are supporting him in this. Good for you! I have read several of your other threads and think that you are a very loving and devoted mother/grandmother. Good to have you on the board.

Robin has set up a wonderful site here and I can't possibly thank her enough.

Hi guys! I became a grandma at 31 and Im 35 now, my yougest daughter is a year older than my grandaughter, so I know what you both feel!
Thanks for this site Robin, and Don, and all the others who moderate it. It's good to have a place to go where there are others in the same boat!
By the way, I was wondering if you check for viruses when people send in messages? I have one in my inbox titled "part-time income" and Im suspicious it could be spam...I just wondered, I have not opened it yet, anything you can tell me would be great.
Thanks again, Lisa

TS, it is spam. I think they sent it to us all. Don is taking care of it, but you should just delete it. I can't believe all the spammers have been getting in here lately, but the moderators are trying to take care of them. Hope this helps!

TM is right, that was spam for prepaid legal service.
If there is ever a question about a PM sent it's always best to let us know. Feel free to send me a PM anytime with the member's name and the message.

I don't believe viruses can be sent through messages, as long as you don't click on any links. It's always safest with the internet to use a good virus software anyway. There are even some good free ones out there.

Just want to add my thanks to the long list!!!!!!!! A little support goes a long way for my daily challenges and often just seeing someone else struggling with the same issues is enough for me to feel like tomorrow is going to be just fine
Thanks

What's most important is we have a place to gain strength, seek advise, communicate with other single parents, and realize that we aren't alone in what we do.
So thank you Robin, you are much appreciated.
And yes I considered placing this in the Single Parents Feedback forum, but for now I'm thinking of better exposure here. It probably will be moved to Feedback forum after a little while though. [/qb]
Just wanted to bring this one up again...it's THAT time again too isn't it.
I love this site and it's been my life preserver for 2 years now. But I understand the Forum doesn't survive on 'thanks' alone !

Dew, are you trying to copy it into your signature? If so, click on the link in mine and the page that comes up is the thread with the information, copy/paste the address into your signature, that's the easiest way.

That's funny that the quote shows my old username Big Grin

In fact I'll send you a PM, you can just copy paste everything in the message area into your signature if you'd like it to appear the same.
