About 3 months ago, I entered these words into a search engine: "single parent support chat"

Along with 252,000 other hits, one site caught my interest.

I started out as a "lurker," reading posts for support and encouragement. Soon, I was getting pulled in by some of the stories and my favorite personalities.

I noticed the closeness that was shared. The sense that the people here had built real relationships through their written words.

It wasn't long before I craved being known in that same way.

Since then, I have built several new friendships as a result of registering to this site. I look forward to getting up each morning to see what's going on at SFV. I'm so glad I found you!

Capt, I feel the same way. I just wanted to someone to talk to, who understand things because friends don't understand. my google search single parent support groups. Smiler
