I know alot of us put too much on ourselves and end up burning out. I am one of those except I dont feel burnt out yet. But I have so much going on. I started thinking last night about all the things I do during the day and how routine and set in my ways I am. I do a lot of things for myself and for Kai and if I look at the big picture of what I'm doing . . . I know that I'm doing a good job being a mom, good in school, I'm a good friend and someday, I hope to add a relationship to this mix.

My point is: I actually feel good and things are clicking in my life for the first time in a long time. I came to a realization and hit hit me hard last night that there is nothing wrong with my life and there is nothing wrong with me. I am who I am and the people who love me and support me are the people that matter, not the ones that are just there to bring me down.

That being said . . . the people here I have gotten to know are wonderful. Some I have had the opportunity to get to know more than others and I have made life-long friends. I love you guys!

Things are going very well for me too! I love my new job, my new apartment, and I have lost 13 pounds in the last 4 weeks! There is alot more walking in this building than in my last one. They also have a fitness center so I can't wait to see what happens when I start working out 3 times a week!

I'm happy for you smshy! I'm not quite there yet, this winter knocked me down and I need to get up. You ever notice that the more you take on, the better you feel and the easier it all becomes? I've been lazy lately and just makes me feel even crappier, I feel my best when I'm busy and juggling a dozen roles

that snow should be melting. When I spoke to my sister who lives in Fairbanks(not by choice) the snow is starting to melt there.

it should be, but it's not doing what it should . Almost all the snow was melted on friday and I was thinking ok summer is here. Saturday we get 6 inches. This morning I woke up to a couple more, and as I look out my window, you guessed it, it's snowing.

man that sucks. at least its not -56 degrees
