I just found you guys... HI! Wouldn't it be great if the "Single Family Voices.com" could advertise on "Matchmaker.com" and "Match.com" and other dating sites. That was the first place I went when looking for new friends. I'll pass it on to my single work associates... hopefully it catches on.

I just think that it is great that this place exists. Whenever I start to feel down I come here and realize that life ain't that bad, at least others are striving to make it through the same things that I am. It helps to know that I am not alone!!!

I just found this website and already I am so thankful that it's here! I'm 27 with a 7 yr old son, and all of my friends are getting married and starting families. I was running out of people to relate to!!

Hi! I just found this site tonight(01/03/03). I'm a single dad of twin 4 year olds and a 5 year old(all boys!).I'm unemployed, and going through divorce preceedings. We currently occupy my parents basement. Thank God for parents! As you may be able to see, my children and I can use any and all advice given! Simple words of encouragement are welcome as well. This is a great site, you all keep posting and I will do the same! Chao!

I would like to respond to this. I ran up on the single family voice board by accident. I love how this is set up. This gives us single parents the opportunity to speak to other single parents out there. There are single parents that are out there that are looking for only advice to help handle their situations, and there are others that looking for someone to get together with, to try to have happy little families, such as I am. I am a firm believer in single moms and dads can get together with others like themselves and bring up these children like they should be with the proper role models. Kudos to who ever came up with the ideal of this area for the parents can communicate with descent other parents. Bless all, may the new year bring happiness, and may everything come together for everyone to have those happy lives they wish so for.

God Bless this site and everyone who needs it. I found this site by accident, read a few things and decided why not register. I love the fact that I am not alone. Reading through so many posts gives me some relief from the thought that I wasn't doing something right. I hate the fact that we have so many similar problems, but on the other hand it is so comforting to know, I AM NOT ALONE. Keep your heads up. It will get easier.... someday. And thanks for being here as a shoulder to lean on. I hope I can be of some inspiration to someone someday.
