I thought I would start a thread in hopes to get lots of posts of thanks to Robin for all of her hard work in providing such a wonderful site. And the extra hard work recently put into the upgrade is just awesome. Lots of new features to keep up with fellow members, and the ability to share more of ourselves if we choose to, I know some may choose to stay more anonymous. What's most important is we have a place to gain strength, seek advise, communicate with other single parents, and realize that we aren't alone in what we do.
So thank you Robin, you are much appreciated.
And yes I considered placing this in the Single Parents Feedback forum, but for now I'm thinking of better exposure here. It probably will be moved to Feedback forum after a little while though.

Hello,
Thankyou Robin for all your hard work. (Good thinking Don). This is a great website. I don't know how to do all the fancy stuff or I would do that too...but to those of you that do it's neat to put faces with the type. Karen

I stumbled onto this site recently while looking for a way to get advice on what I was going through from people who are living it, too. This is a fantastic place with many fantastic people who have incredible stories to tell. Thank you for keeping it going! Wink

So this is where it went. You know, I was having dark period a short time ago. Was looking for input into the situation. Found this site. Was welcomed and was asked to participate. I've had dark times before with family law and issues with my ex but this time I got through it without hardly noticing the pain and frustrations. Go figure. Thank you, Robin, for including me,Don and Mark, for offering friendship and kinship and all the moms and dads who throw their two cents in. My wealth has grown.
The dark times are still close, but not as lonely now. And I see light where I failed to notice before.

No matter what you see, no matter what you hear, no matter what you read...always always always get a second opinion... and then a third.
