I am new to the site and looking to meet other single parents in my area. I have been a single mother for five years. And recently ended a year long relationship. And I am so LONELY, all my friends are married, or in a relationship, and many do not have children. I really just want friends??? Anyone out there close and feel the same???

Welcome to the site bzmominmi! There are tons of great people on here as Don said. I have made friends from California to Canada to Indiana to right here in Florida. Just because we aren't close to you in Michigan, doesn't mean that we can't learn about/from you and share in your experiences. We are all here as single parents wanting what is best for our children. Good luck and we look forward to getting to know you better.
