My still husband keeps a bottle of 90 proof peppermint schnapps in the freezer. Before I left for work on Saturday there had been maybe about 1 drink gone, when I checked it the next day all but about 1 inch was gone!!!!! The sad and scary thing was that he was soley responsible for my/our daughter during the time when he drank this.
It makes me sick thinking about it. My daughters life was in danger!!! Right now there is NO way that I can leave her at home with him while I am at work. I am going to have to figure out something before this weekend because normally he is at home with her on the weekends when I am at work. During the week there is a daycare here I can use. I am an Air Traffic Controller and my schedule rotates. Any ideas on how to find weekend/night help fast much appreciated.

I fear for you right now. That can be a huge problem. All I can say is try and seek him some help, but he's not going to realize that he's in the wrong until he notices that this has become a problem. Thank God that you came home and your child was okay!
