A really weird thing happened today. My ex and I actually had a good half hour conversation without anyone cussing or yelling at one another. Granted I still don't understand the logic that he has money to smoke but no money to pay his half of the medical bills, but he did tell me he was looking into ways to reduce the medical expenses. He even told me he thought he was moving in with his girlfriend and I really didn't care. (That is a HUGE step for me) Just wanted to share my little victory and tell everyone to keep their fingers crossed that this good trend continues

I am happy to hear that you were able to have a decent conversation with your ex! I have yet to have that experience myself.

I applaud you for being strong about him moving in with this girlfriend. That takes a lot of courage.

CONGRATUALATIONS!!!!!!!!

That is great!

I wish I could do the same. But every time we do have a talk...one that is normal and nice, he starts to assume we'll get back together.

sigh
