Hi....I'm brand spankin' new to this site/board. How do you add a pic (a personal pic) under your name, also known as your avatar?? And how do you add pics to come up in your comments that you write?? So confused!! hahaha!!

Go to your personal zone/edit profile. You should find the avatars on that page. For a signature pic, you will need to use a photo hosting site such as photobucket to host your picture, download from your computer to their site. They will give you different codes for sharing that picture. You will use the "forums" code....it's the [img] code. You copy paste that into your signature box. We do ask that you keep your signature picture to about 300 pixels, photobucket will even resize the photo for you. Bigger pictures slow down page loading especially for those on dialup, so it makes it really hard to read the threads waiting for all the pictures to load.

Hey...thanks for the info. I think I figured out how to put a signature pic, but the only avatar pics were ones that the site offers?? I can't figure out how to put my own pic there! Oh well, no biggie! Thanks for your help.

Yep, you certainly did figure out the signature pic

As for the avatar, I believe that you have to be a member for a while, 50 posts, to add your own. Otherwise there would be a custom avatar choice there where you would do the same sort of thing, copy/paste an [img] code into the box.

Hi everyone! And thanks for the warm welcome!! Laure: I'm originally from exit 151! haha!! But I moved a little west now...Morris County. I'm trying to follow the rules and didn't want to put too many pics up, and I know it's a site for single parents, but I'm always leary on putting my kids pics up! But I'm going to find one of the kids, my boy is 4 and my girl is 2! I've been separated since Jan 2007 and it's STILLLL going on. However last night we actually finally signed a divorce agreement and as far as I know, I think we just need it signed off by the judge and we'll be DIVORCED!! YIPPEE!! Waiting for the call from my attorney to find out! I might have a little different mind set than most ppl here, as I'm ELATED to get divorced. Can't wait for that chapter to be closed!!

Well that's just a little bit about me! Glad I have somewhere to go now to ask un-biased ppl questions and to see other ppl's concerns or questions!!

Hi "HB".....thanks for the kind welcome! I gotta say, I was quite impressed with everybody on board's warm words and welcomes! So far...nobody has said anything to scare me away! I'm pretty open and easy going and there's almost nothing that can be said that really "offends" me! lol!! Like someone said....us chicks from Jersey are tough cookies!!
