Well, I've up and made the decision to sell my bike. Posted it on Craigslist this morning and already have a few hits for it. Just need to send them pics of it.
Also, I've started shopping for a real estate agent. I have work to do on the house, but I can no longer take the financial burden it's causing me. I'm just not sure where I will end up for a new home, and am scared of the impact it will have on Ash. I may not be able to stay in the same school district she's already in. I'm also not sure how easy it will be to keep our current visitation schedule intact.
However, as much as doing this makes me sad (I'll really miss the bike, and I don't like the idea of moving Ash away from her friends), it's something that I know has to happen. I understand that as a kid, Ash will adapt pretty quickly, and I won't be moving that far away, I'll stay as close as I can and not be crunched every month for $$$$.
It's something I've been putting off, the last vestige of letting go, and not wanting to. I'm ready though. I am so dang ready!!

When Ash is in school, my costs are down. However, during the summer, daycare costs go up, gas prices being what they are, costs for the new school year are coming up ...
And any extra cash will help me pay for the projects on the house.

(slap to the forehead) - I just remembered that my mom offered to buy the title from me last summer, just so I could keep it. So, I may be able to keep it after all ...
Thanks Mis Jess, you knocked that memory loose!!

You're welcome! lol I'm glad you were able to figure it out .. on your own.
I kind of thought it was money related but then I thought there was something more to it than that. I'm sure once things are settled, you'll be able to buy yourself a new bike .. new or not. Sounds like a heavy plate though, between now and then. Good luck with it all. I wish I could give you better advice .. but I'm sure someone else here will.
