What was your most recent dream?
I have strange dreams all the time and I've gotten pretty good at interpreting them...

My most weird recent dream was that I was in Turkey at an open-air market (I've never been to Turkey) in those big open sided metal sheds? Anyway, I'm walking through this market and my ex-bf is there and he's with my mom but he keeps pulling me off to the side and kissing me and then I notice he has no teeth.

Weird.

edited to add: oh, the game part is you interpret the dream of the person above you and share one of your own.

Funny you should bring this up, because I had a dream last night and remembered it when I woke up. I usually can't remember what I dreamed.

I was on the pacific coast somewhere between Seattle and Vancouver, I didn't recognize it I just know that's where I was. I had just driven down from Alaska for some reason. Me and this other traveller were talking, he was taller than me and had dark hair, and was a fellow runner. We were talking about amazing sights we had seen and how we happened to not have cameras on us when they happened. He claimed to have seen a whale walking upright on a beach. After he told his story I looked accross the bay and there were two rainbows with the same center. It was an overcast day with heavy dark clouds, and the rainbows disappeared into the clouds then came down on the other side. Neither one of us had cameras, but I wasn't bothered because the lighting was horrible for a photo anyways even though it was breathtaking in person.

So there it is.

Okay...so here's my interpretation...The tall dark man symbolizes a dark side of you, and the fact that he is taller than you symbolizes the fact that he has some kind of power over you. The sights you've seen symbolize potential relationships...the fact that you don't have your camera with you symbolizes you letting the potential relationship slip through your fingers. The two rainbows are a symbol of you desperately wanting to be united with someone. The horrible lighting was a symbol of a bad past experience that is overshadowing your ability to have a good relationship.
Eeker
Oh, you're screwed.

wow Erin, that was freaky, you are good at this!

I'll go back to Jones
no teeth = infant
kissing = love for infant
with your mother = you want to be a mother again
open air market = out in the open nothing to hide
turkey (never been) = a different experience than with your other babies.
yaaaay!

I had a horrible nightmare the other night. I was with my favorite employee Brooke who has worked for me for 7 years and looks exactly like me at that age, folks constantly confuse us or ask if she is my daughter. We were abducted (might have fallen asleep with Law & Order on in the background) and we were strategizing how to escape. We still had our cell phones. I went to the bathroom but the door was cut and would not shut to allow me privacy to text "abducted. call fbi. with brooke." I was mid text when the abductor came to the door and caught me, as he reached in to grab me I woke up. I was shaking for quite a while. freaky huh?

Wow, cool interpretations! Laurie, I think your dreams is this:
Brooke symbolizes a younger you - the you before your lost your innocence, maybe, or maybe just at a time when so many life experiences hadn't made you as "jaded" as you feel today

Your abductor is also you - trying to suppress something, maybe trying to prevent you from breaking free of something or trying to prevent you from connecting with the outside world out of fear, maybe

Your desire to escape symbolizes a desire to break free and join the outside world

The fact that you have your cell phone symbolizes that you still have that connection with other people, but you still feel isolated

And the fact that you were the only one taking action symbolizes your desire to protect that younger you from the danger.

You are at war with yourself - wondering how much of the world you and take part in while still protecting yourself and your daughter.

I'm prolly totally wrong. Dang, and I don't have a dream to post. Next person, just post your dream. haha.

I dreamt I was part of a group/party that went to an aquarium with killer whales and other dangerous creatures. Things were really nice for everyone, but then it turned into something out of Jurassic Park and one of the killer whales ate the arm off of a young kid.

I also later dreamt I had a date with Rosario Dawson in a pool, and ended up having *** with her. It was pretty yummy.

If I had to decipher...maybe the first dream represents something bad is about to happen to someone innocent (divorce with my son involved?) And the second represents the freedom I'm about to have to experience love again. Who knows.

OMG Jones!!!! You are freaking amazing! I honestly dont think I am jaded (could be wrong) rather incredibly naive and too trusting - and I have isolated myself a bunch from folks as I have less confidence in my discernment and while hurting myself sucked, hurting my daughter Faith is not an option. I sing a Simon and Garfukel song to myself sometimes... I am a rock, I am an island -- and an island feels no pain.... Goodness woman, you are making me cry - THANK YOU!!!!!!

You are even more spot on in that owning a B&B is isolating and I want a better, fuller life for Faith, so after 11 years it is on the market! My plan is to move near my church, near my heart, near my friends and the outside world, albeit a safe version that I can trust Faith to be safe in.

Wow, Jones you just rocked my safe isolated world...

No, the walking whale symbolizes your ability to rise above your dark side. Notice the whale is not beached, he's up and able to move forward and not let anything keep him down.

Last night I had a dream that my ex fiance and I were getting married. Immediately after we said our "I do's", some guy shot him. Then I was forced to marry the other guy. I'm probably leaving some detail out, but that's all I can remember. Very strange. Confused

I had a horrible dream last night. My friends Try, Leigh, Tiffany, and JD all live in a house together. (Three of them are in a band together that just gotback from being on tour) In my dream I was at there house and they were talking about that they had just gotten signed to arecord deal. I had just had my baby and I was trying to get JD and Tiffany to take y baby and raise it. I told them that I just couldn't do it, I'm not capable of it and I'm going ot be a horrible mom. They wouldn't take it. That's all that I remember I just know that I woke up crying because WHY would I ever even have the thought in my head to give my child away!

First:

ERIN....I replied to your dream on your "I cried today posting" ...so check it out Big Grin

JENN: Your dream is not about you secretly wanting to give away your baby....It is about your insecurity about the kind of mother you are going to be & the kind of life you are going to give him/her. It is the most natural concern and one that EVERY mother has especially with their first child! It is deffinately magnified when you know you are going to be a single MOM!! You are such a wonderful & supportive friend that you have dreams about your friends' band being sucessful but they also know you & know that you will be a wonderful MOM so they wouldn't take the baby! You already love this child so much & any inner questioning is natural!! Just out of curiosity are you thinking of these two friends as Godparents (If you are religous) or having some "representative role" in your child's life? I remember having terrible dreams that something happened to me & who would "take care of my son" ...as a single Mom bringing a child into this world alone it can be a terrifying thought...combine that with hormones & forget it!! These are obviously people you care about so maybe you have been thinking of their role in the baby's life. I also remember when I was pregnant having awful dreams that my Mom died. It was terrible & terrifying...but 10 years later she is still fine & I think it was my way of trying to deal with me being a great Mom like my mother is & that role/ dynamic changing since I was going to become a Mom. Also my need for her to be there!! Just my thoughts.

I don't have a dream to share yet, but I always have crazy dreams & I'll post one soon!! I LOVE this STUFF!!

4 U LC...LOL!!

They are definitely going to be strong influences in my childs life. They are very positive people and try to steer away from anything negative when it arises. Your interpretation made me feel better this morning big huggies Thank you.
