My younger sister is pregnant and due at the end of this month. The entire pregnancy has been one bad thing after another so we thought we'd finally made it to the home stretch. However, today the Dr told her that her uterus(sp) has stopped growing and that the baby has as well. He said that they would have to take the baby soon, but that right now the baby was only at 24% of something and needs to be at 50% to be delievered. This is her first full term pregnancy and the only one that she says she's ever going to have. Please keep her and our little Emma in your prayers!!

when Faith was in distress I was always happy to hear of other success stories. You were away when Don posted he had a 2.5 pound baby. and Faith was 4lbs. Great things in these NICUs!!! pray they get in there and get out of there fine If you think you can, or you think you cant - you are right. |

Thank you guys!! I've been telling my sister and my mom that it's all going to work out in the end and things will be fine. I appreciate all the prayers. I'll keep you posted b/c we may have a little one by next week if the Dr is right. I say we...b/c I've always wanted a little girl and my sister is such a tom boy that I've told I'm going to make this the girliest girl ever!!!! 2.5 and 4 lbs...wow they are doing great things these days.

Just a quick update on our little Emma...the Dr told my sister today that the little one is growing, my sister however is not so next week we will have our new addition. He let her know that unfortunately she has the same weird anatomy I do which does not allow for a normal birth and she will have a c-section. I told her not to worry I had all three of mine that way and look how perfect they turned out
 . Anyway, I'll let you guys know as soon as she gets here!! |

So I got the call in the middle of the night...WE'RE IN LABOR...ok so it is 6 hours later and we're still only at 2 but we're making progress
. I can say that from this far away. It looks like today will be the day that our Little Emma makes her grand appearance. My mom will be flying down there today to help out and I can't . Stupid work. Oh well I'll let you guys know how things go throughout the day...I figure if I have to suffer and wait I'll make you guys suffer and wait with me. |

Amy you are right! I can't stand the tbought of druggie mothers not changing their lifestyles and having healthy newborns that end up neglected when there are people out there willing to do whatever it takes to have their own, only to run into complications. It makes me wonder sometimes.   |

WE HAVE A BABY!!!!!!!!! Little Emma Marie made her appearance about 45 min ago. She weighs 6pds 4oz and is 19in long. I'll post photos as soon as I get them. Thanks for all the prayers!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I am so sorry for your sister, you and the rest of your family. I will keep her and he little angel in my prayer's. I don't know what else to say except try to keep her thinking positive and to be as calm as possible and take it easy on herself. Please keep us posted. I am so sorry.....
