I'm pretty new here still, I've posted a few things, I don't really feel like I have gotten to know any of you yet...but I feel like you all understand what I'm going through better than anyone else in my life.

Anyhow...my whole purpose of writing right now is that I have the appointment tomorrow to find out what the baby is and it's the first/only thing I have been excited about yet! Maybe I will finally feel some connection to this little "weasel" as I've been calling it.

going for mother of the year are ya? ha ha ha ha.

Let's see, first of all, congratulations. Secondly Welcome. Third, I dont know your thoughts, but I'll hope for a girl for you. <grin> Personally, I just did not want to potty train when I did not have the same equipment.

I joked that "it had better be a girl, because a boy named Faith sure is gonna get his butt kicked" Ridiculously, I can not tell you how many people sincerely tried to talk me out of that saying that would be cruel for a boy. *sigh* Hi it is a joke, get it? *sigh*

You will see this is a whole new chapter of your life when complete strangers approach you while pregnant and while a mom and they shove down your throat, er, give you their opinion on what you are doing wrong.

So I wont be one of them --- yet...

Good luck tomorrow and let us know. :-)

If you think you can, or you think you cant - you are right.

How exciting I know that when I was pregnate I couldn't wait to find out the gender of the baby As soon as I was done I rushed to the nearest store and bought the first little pink or blue outfit.
I hope that everything goes well be sure to drink all of the recommended water ( I also remember how hard that was) The more water the better they can see. Let us know so we can start helping you picking out baby names. LOL

I think the dad is hoping for a weasel too. Smiler Anything except for a human that he will have any sort of responsibility for.

I really don't have a preference. As long as it's in there. I just woke up from a nightmare that I went to the appointment and "weasel" was gone, as in, just disappeared right out of me! Yikes!

I will let you all know this afternoon! Yay.

Well...weasel is "probably" a girl. S/he had those legs clamped together so tight! If it is a girl she better stay that way too.

What a disappointment though. This really is the only thing I've been excited about yet and all I get is I'm "pretty sure" it's a girl, but I wouldn't go out and buy all pink clothes. Maybe it resents me for calling it weasel...

Aw...how fun! I hope it's a girl. Hey, if you don't want to go out and buy a bunch of clothes (in case it isn't a girl) let me know. I have a TON of boys and girls clothes and I'd be more than happy to let you just have them and get them out of my house. Smiler

They might try again, it wasn't my doctor who did the ultrasound, I went to an imaging place. So if my doctor sends me back they can try again. Or I might try and see if I can get my doctor to do another ultrasound at her office. My next appointment is in two weeks, so I'll definitely be asking!

And Erin, that would be so awesome! I would pay the shipping costs! I really don't want to go out and buy a lot of clothes even if I did know for sure it was one or the other. Hand-me-downs are going to be the weasel's best friend! It's still a few months away, but yes, yes, I will take any clothes you want to give me! Yay.

Oh good! I'll be so glad to get them out of my house. I don't have a lot of closet space, and they are taking up a good bit of it. When you're ready for them, just let me know and we'll figure out a way to exchange info.
