Hi i'm new here i found this site thank god. I am a single mom of two children one who is very ill and need plenty of medical care. The other who is add. I myself suffer from ptsd,gad,ocd. I have severe panic attacks at times.My daughters father is really abusive andi have a no contact order on him fromhim threatening to stabb me while my daughter was in his car. I still love him sometimes and I hate himwith all my soul most of the times.This relationship was really bad.I do miss himbut yet i'm gl;ad he's gone because i can wake up in the morning with out being afriad to say something that might set himoff.

dont worry hon i am a mother of three and i have been there my husband is in jail for child and spouce abuse it would only get worse and when they cant hit you they will hit the kids so you are better off tis way i am always here if you need an ear i am all alone with my kids and in a new town maybe we can lean on each other if you want you can write to me

I got out of an abusive relationship last May after almost four years of torture. I couldn;t understand how I could love someone and be afraid of then at the same time. I always used to watch talk shows and say "Why don;t those women get out-they are so stupid" and now I know exactly what they are going thru. So it is much better for you, believe me. My ex still leaves messages once in a while on my cell phone and sometimes I wanna call but then I get another nasty message and I remember why I left so hang in there. I can so relate to what you are saying I am coming out of an 18 year abusive relationship and I have PTSD.It sounds tough for you right now and I think you are very brave and well done for getting out of this abuse.I believe in time the trauma willl go away for both of us. Hugs To You, Geri
