Okay, another question!

The divorce decree gives BOTH of us LEGAL custody. My understanding was that it meant we both have access to educational, medical records.

I have FULL PHYSICAL custody with decreed visitation and child support on his part.

Summer visitation in the decree is "every other week". (weird, I know)

Who decides when it starts?

He wants it to start the last day of school (which is before his regular "every other weekend") but makes the first week start on Wednesday. The summer camp registrations for them which I MADE revolve around them being with him the first FULL week. Thus they would be unable to participate in ANY of the camps and activities they are planning on. It is too late to change registrations and I cannot afford to take it to my attorney.

HELP!

if u follow the school schedual, like when the local school let out for summer break.

But if the courts have given u the full sole custody, then it is you that is accountable, soly for there ability to thrive and make these type of discessions, -

so talk with him and explain this situation to their dad about the camps.

you could always see if he could start them off with their activities, - bring them , set them up with supplys and clothing needed.

joint legal custody, usually means, that both can make major choices/rights for the kids, as if u two were still together. Full physical custody usually mean, you have the kids physicall full time. So im lost here? - if he is having physical time... [but it could be that u have majority of the time-]

just food for thought.

Peace
Robin
