I am 17, my daughter is 1 1/2. I never married her father, but she has his last name. Well I went to Wisconsin(from Missouri)without him knowing. Anyway I called him to let him know that I was ok. Well he told me that he was going to kill hisself if I didn't tell him where I was, so I told him. Well I took off to a diffrent house before he got there. Then I called him and told him to meet me at the mall, well he did but he tried to kidnap her from me. All the police charged him with is disordely conduct. His 16 year old brother had drugs on him and the cops dropped that. Well now I am afraid that he will try to get custody of her. Do you think that he has a better chance than I do at getting custody?

Unless he has filled for custody dont sweat it for now. But in the mean time look in your local area for a law libary and get some ideas that pertain to your situation.

I know what it feels like to have your child taken from you.

You see my ex-wife took our 3 children and ran off with my brother one day while I was at work.

Finally I got them (the children) back, but I had to get a injuction against her and him so that they can't come around the children so that they can't take them.

All you have to do is file a D.V. order against him and the judge with have a hearing making you have custody of the baby. If he doesn't show up for it then after 2 times the judge grants it in your favor which means if he comes near the baby or tries to take the baby from day care or anywhere else then he goes to Jail for a long time.
