Hello, my name is Jackie and I am fighting for my kids and I want to share our plight with you. The justice system has failed us and is corrupt. My three children have suffered both mental and physical abuse from their father and his family. CSB has been called and they failed to do anything. I was told by the big gentlemen that came to my house to talk to my kids that "if they were his kids, he would have done the same thing." A guardian ad litem was brought in and she took a liking to my ex-husband. She decided to spend many hours with him and not with me and my children. She took my kids from my ex's house and told them that they were going to live with him from now on. My children called me at work hysterical and I had to leave early to go and get them so they would settle down. Her report to the courts was to limit my time with my children and let him have them. I am obviously figting that and it has not been initiated as of yet. I truly believe that she is being paid off by my ex and his family. My lawyer believes that also. My daughter called me last night sobbing, begging me to come home. "I do not want to be with daddy mom, I want to be with you. Please, please come get me" I had to tell her no.

I need your help. If you have any websites, books that might be helpful to us, names of people I can contact or any other information that might be helpful in my plight, I would be so greatful. There has to be other single parents out there that are going through similiar situations like mine and I want to help them also.

Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

God bless you and your families.

Jackie

Proud mom of Zachary, age 12, Randi, age 10 and Aaron age 8.

Hi Jackie, what a mess you are in.That's probably not the thing you wanted to hear right now.

Iam unfamiliar with US family law,but is there a higher court that is impartial to which you can complain. As we have the Family Division of the Royal Court's of Justice here in the UK or we can complain to an Ombudsman who by law is totally impartial.

Best wishes,

Mark

Mark,
I am not sure if we have anything like that here but I am going to check into it. Thank you so much for your words of advise.

Have you talked to anyone at legal aid.
Have you talked a lawyer in your town who may take it on as a pro bono case.
That is where I would start.

Good luck!
