I am New to SFV |
First post on here. Any info would be greatly appreciated. My brother is separated from his common law wife. She moved out approx 2 years ago. One 8 y/o daughter lives with him. He recently decided to go for custody because of her recent actions (She's on anti phsycodic medication, she drinks while on said meds. because she "likes the high it gives her", in the last year she's been in the back of a police car at least three times (once for drunk and disorderly and assulting a police officer, another time when someone found her passed out along the road after taking unknown drugs, and another for attempted suicide (overdose - police had to kick in bathroom door). She is in her third resisdence due to drinking problems. When stopping by to pick up her daughter she has threatened to punch holes in the wall and drive her car through the house. She did show up for the custody hearing but had it postponed until November because she wasn't ready. She also lyed to the judge by telling him that the daughter lives with each one about 50% of the time. Up until she was served papers she might have seen her daughter 7 days out of the month and most of those times the daughter was with a babysitter while the mother was out parting. My question is, what is the best way to get a printout of someone's criminal record? I think this would be handy to have for when she starts lying to the judge again. My brother was also told by her that he cannot bring up anything about her medical/emotional condition because it is "confidential information" (She was told this by her lawyer...supposedly). I would think that a court would take these things into consideration if someone is abusing drugs and alcohol, in and out of psyc wards, and being visited by police. The daughter is very nervous around her mother and often complains that "mommy has nothing to eat in her fridge". My brother buys all his daughter's food, clothing, etc. He has always been the one to change the diapers, dress the kid, and put her to sleep. One time when they were together and my brother was visiting there was a frantic call from the mother saying "the baby's awake and crying what do I do?". We live in a rural area and I am the next door neighbour & the kid's grandmother lives across the road (never a problem to get a baby sitter). The school she goes to is about 2km away. I think this would be a good stable invironment to a judge as opposed to never knowing where you're going to live and if you'll have anything to eat. Anywho, does anyone know about the criminal record? Thanks in advance for any responses.
