if she lives in TX she files in TX. Besides, TX is a 50/50 state when it comes to marital assets. Why would you want to support your children less? $150 more a month buys more groceries and activities your children is involved in... well, unless you are sharing custody... then perhaps they are eating 1/2 the time at your place and you're already paying for the activties. |

Child support will only be filed in the state where there is a current court order, and if there isn't one the state in which the child resides. That is the federal child something act and each state is suppose to have laws that are based on tis act. You are better off not even trying to change anything, it will only cost you legal fees, time, expenses for something that was probably a headache to begin with.
