I called an attorney last Thursday to set up a consultation appointment. Her admin assistant was supposed to give her my info so she could call me direct to get more details and set up the appointment. It's now Tuesday morning, and I still haven't heard from her. Shall I call again today or wait another couple days? I hate to draw a black line through the woman's name before I even speak with her.

I would call just in case she did not get the message. No attitude, just a little concern.

Yeah Schoolmommy is right I don't know how many times I've had to follow up with my lawyer because she's either been too busy or just forgot to call me back.

That's kinda what I was thinking. I know how crazy this office can get...I can't imagine an attorney's office.

I guess I just don't want her to think from the very beginning that I'm pushy (which I can be, but still...) and going to be calling every day.

So I called, and the assistant apologized profusely. Red Face "She probably didn't recognize the name, and just skipped right over the message". Completely understandable...I've done the same thing before.

New message waiting on her computer specifying that it's a NEW case. Smiler Now, we'll see what happens.

Glad you called. I would have had the same reservation but also have worked in an office so I know how things get "overlooked."

I'm glad, too. Now I feel like a dumb*** for even worrying about it. Red Face
