Hi Everyone,
I recently divorced this past year and my ex in court had claimed that I was a sexaholic and cross dresser. We had been separted for almost 3 years before the divorce was final. My girlfriend and I had spend a few nights in California when I went out to visit her. We were playing around and she took some pictures of me with make up on. Well to make a long story short, my ex stole the pictures that were in my car and used them against me in court. Well the judge never saw the pictures and order me to seek help with a counsler that cost $2500. for the session. This is a financial burden since he wants payment in full. Does anyone have any suggestions?

So was this the only evidence that was submitted to the court for her claim? Just seems odd that a judge would order that strictly based on he said/she said without even looking at those pictures.
Did the judge order you to see that particular counselor, or can you check into other counselors that might take payments, or a sliding fee based on income? Do you have medical insurance, that might help offset some of the cost for counseling?
At any rate, you will need to figure out a way to satisfy that court order so that it doesn't end up blocking you completely from any visitation of your children.

similar situations Wink

my ex accused me of many, many crazy things including being a 'satan worshiper' which i thought was ironic because the day she left me i was trying to save our marriage by suggesting we put GOD first and find a church with counseling services (ROFL)

anyway, my lawyer told me it was $2500 which i did not have and was angry about- he then told me that if I had to get assessed, my ex did too.

it ended up being a very important piece of the custody case, i was deemed to be not a "satan worshiper" and she was deemed to be nutz (huzzah!)

Love all, trust a few, do harm to none.
