I have made the decision to take Kai to the catholic church that some friends go to. I think it will be good for both myself and Kai. Kai will be happy because two little girls that are close to our family go there so she wont be totally alone. So this Sunday will be the first visit. Kind of anxious Smiler

Ummm . . . how do you dress for church? When I was little we dressed up.

We (the kids and I ) attend a catholic church. Unfortunatley most people don't dress up anymore for church. Hovever when I take my kids each Sunday we do dress up. All the little old ladies fawn over my kids and say thing like "this is how your supposed to dress alittle girl/boy for church" I agree and the kids love the attention. You will see people wearing anything from jeans and T-shirt(which in my opinion is inappropriate) to their nicest attire. So basically nowadays its up to how you feel most comfortable walking into a house of worship.
Hope you like the catholic church. Smiler
If your not already then be prerared with a little notebook and some crayons maybe even some glodfish to pull out when Kia starts to run out of patience. The Mass is long and it will take a while before a three year old can really follow along.

Courage doesnt always roar, sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow."

Do I "HAVE" to answer this question......you know what I'm going to say....

Just don't dress like an alter boy or the priest will be coming on to you....

Good to hear! I try to always dress well for church, but like NJ said, so many people come completely casual it would be totally up to you. Your daughter may like getting dressed up.

I would definitely not show up in jeans but just street pants and a nice shirt, no t-shirt.

Kai loves dresses! So she would be dressed to the 9. lol

I try to dress me and the boys in button up shirts and slacks
I let Halona choose her clothes, she likes pink and purple dresses.
I try to never miss church... it makes my whole week better... and sometimes cause of laundry or whatnot all we have are polos or jeans and I'll still take my boys to church like that. Halona is adamant about her dressses though.
