I am a 25 year old mother of a 5 year old. I currently work for an orthopaedic and sports medicine practice in the physical therapy department. I am trying to find a way to go back to school to become a Physician Assistant. I have NO family and all of the programs are in another city/ state. I have no idea how it will be possible to quit my job, go back to college full time, have time for studying and clinicals, and arrange appropriate and affordable schooling/ childcare for my son. I could really use some advice, knowledge, and encouraging words. Thank you and God Bless.

Do you want to become a physician or physician assistant? I am part of a great site oldpremeds.com if you are interested in going to medical school. I am a single parent also with 2 girls trying to go to medical school. I am not sure which way I am going to go.

Best of Luck!
