I am New to SFV
Posted
I'm new to SFV and I'm just trying to find some support from others like me. I'm 25 and my daughter and I are living with family while I'm attending college. My ex chooses not to be in her life on a consistent basis. Living with my family can get stressful at times but right now I can't move out.

Girl....been there done that. I did it for 5 years. My advice? Save, save, save! Get that down payment together and money in savings for your daughter. You are so blessed to have family that supports you. My best firend did it without anyone and it has been so hard for her (she is my hero). You and I have had it good! I am now in my own house and know that if it were not for my parents (mother) I would be back to renting. Let me know if you have any problems you would like to discuss. I know it stinks sometimes. I was frustrated often.

Welcome!!!!!!!!

Welcome to SFV.

Be sure that you will find a slew of information here and many people that will be able to provide you with additional support. If you ex chooses not to be in your daughter's life then it is his loss.
