Okay, I picked up 3 books for my two classes on Friday . . . guess how much the total was on books alone? $250.00!!!!!!!!!! WTF??!?!? The lady told me and I was floored. If I didn't have financial aid I would have been screwed.

Now, I ask, what is so wrong with our system that those that wish to go to college have to pay $160.00 for one book that they will only use for 12 weeks! ?!?!?! I am disgusted!

It is crazy the cost of books. Next time you should try and find someone who has already taken the class. You can pay them more then the book store would to buy them back and less then it would cost for a new one.

I have financial aid that is used for books therefore, I can't go anywhere but the school and there were no used books when I went. Apparently I went too late.

Bad Day

Well...you can look forward to selling them back to the store for some of the cost. It's more of stored money than spent money.

Maybe you could hold on to them and get a better price selling them directly to another student.
